Several decades of my work have centered on shaping how we treat the atmosphere: what we put into it; how we see its effects on climate, health, ecosystems, and economies; and how we can build institutions and habits to better protect it. I have worked with various parts of the Indian government, the U.S. government, and on regional and international initiatives. I am currently advising the Our Common Air Commission and serve on the WEF Global Futures Council for Clean Air as well as being co-chair of the Scientific Steering Committee of the WMO Global Air Quality Forecasting and Information Services Initiative.
